Our FAQ

frequently asked question

How do I know which procedure is right for me — LASIK, PRK, RLE, or Cataract Surgery?

Our experienced ophthalmologists will evaluate your eye health, vision prescription, corneal thickness, age, and lifestyle during a comprehensive consultation. Based on that assessment, we’ll recommend the procedure best suited to your needs and long-term vision goals.

What should I expect during the consultation and scheduling process?

First, you’ll have a detailed eye exam and discussion of your history and vision goals. Then our team will explain your treatment options — including benefits, risks, recovery times — so you can make an informed decision. If you choose to proceed, we’ll help you schedule the procedure at your convenience.

How long does recovery take and when will I see results?

Recovery varies depending on the procedure. For laser vision correction (LASIK/PRK), many patients notice improved vision within a few days. For lens-based procedures (RLE or Cataract Surgery), vision clarity often improves within 24–48 hours, with further improvements in the following weeks. Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) typically requires 7–14 days for swelling and bruising to subside. Your surgeon will provide personalized post-op care instructions.

Are your physicians qualified and experienced?

Yes. Our Medical Director, Dr. Corey Hochman, is a board-certified comprehensive ophthalmologist with over 15 years of experience and tens of thousands of patients treated across Arizona. He is recognized for his surgical expertise and broad experience treating a wide range of eye conditions — from routine exams to advanced surgical and medical eye care.

Will I still need glasses or contacts after surgery?

The goal of vision correction procedures is to reduce or eliminate your dependence on glasses or contacts. Many patients enjoy clear vision without them. However, results vary depending on your eyes, the procedure you choose, and your vision needs. During your consultation, we’ll discuss realistic expectations.
